Welcome to Part 2 Electric Boogaloo! This is the second episode of our running series on the history of animation geared towards adult audiences. On this BB we move out of the 1970s to talk all about two classic, music infused, animated films from the 1980s: "Heavy Metal" (1981) and the VERY underrated Canadian film, "Rock & Rule" (1983). Both movies have an impressive line-up of both musical and voice talent, not to mention the incredible and varying animation styles, but ONE of these films definitely stands the test of time better than the other.
